Talk To Me And Increase Your Sales 179%

Here’s a tip for you to increase your sales by up to 179%. Add audio to your website. That’s it. When I visit your website, I want you to talk to me :) That’s what I’m getting from the statistics.

Every time I add audio to a sales page, the sales increase. I don’t have any hard proof as to why it works, but here’s my theory.

We’re social animals. We like contact with each other. Reading a static webpage is fine for getting information, but if you want to reach your prospects on a more emotional level, the level that makes them buy, let them hear what you have to say.

Using audio on your sales page also develops a higher level of credibility and trust. When your prospect can hear you, you become more real and more believable. And when your prospect begins to know, like and trust you, making a sale becomes much easier.

And adding audio to your webpages is easy to do. If you don’t know what to say, simply read your sales page copy. Make sure you read it as if you were speaking and not in a monotone, bore-the pants-off people voice.

My personal statistics have shown increases of 179% at the high end and 63% increase on the low end, so whichever way you look at it, audio can seriously affect your sales figures.

Then I checked to see how much money was spent online last year. According to CNNMoney.com we spent $102.1 billion dollars online in 2006. Apparently the 2007 figures aren’t out yet. But the 2006 numbers represent a 24% increase over 2005, so we can estimate that 2007 figures will come in around $127 billion and maybe more.

Now imagine if all the websites that sold stuff in 2007 had used audio and increased their sales by even 50%, we’d be looking at figures around $190 billion for 2007. That’s $31 for every single person on the planet!

Now think about how that applies to you and your websites. If you could increase your sales by even 50% by just adding a little 1 or 2 minute audio snippet, would it be worth it? You bet it is and it’s not hard to do.

Subliminal Messaging Lab Test

Remember when you were a kid and your Mom said, “Be careful what you wish for, it just might come true.” Did you ever think she might be right? She actually was. Let me explain.

I’m very interested in the subconscious mind and how it works. Books like “Think and Grow Rich,” and “Success Engineering” are fascinating hot beds of ideas. The movie, “The Secret” puts the whole concept into perspective. But even with all that information, there’s one ingredient left untapped. Experimentation.

Simply reading a book or watching a movie, won’t help you tap into the potential your mind keeps tucked away. You have to experiment and see if these “theories” will actually work for you.

Since I’m already fascinated with the possibility of using your mind to manifest whatever you want in life, experimenting is fun. In fact, I live my life like I’m in my own personal mind lab. I love trying new ideas and techniques.

The first time I tried this was after I read “Success Engineering” by Phil Gosling. My lab test was trying to get the train door to stop in front of me. At the time I read the book, I was taking the train into work. Every day, the train would pull up to the platform and the train doors would almost never stop in front of me. So I decided to make the train doors stop in front of me.

Instead of standing on the platform hoping the train doors would stop in front of me, I just assumed they would, no questions. I practiced for about 2 weeks. And after a while, the train doors would stop in front of me more and more frequently. After about a month, the train doors stopped in front of me 3-4 days out of 5. That got me excited because my experiment was showing positive results.

So I started experimenting with other things. I started making things happen in my life that I’d only dreamed of before. My business started growing, because I stopped questioning whether it would. I just decided it would. I also worked at it, it didn’t just happen all by itself.

I also started reaching financial goals I’d never reached before. Instead of setting a goal and hoping it would come true, I just decided it would and it did.

I also started experimenting with subliminal CDs and messages. One of the more recent lab tests was with a piece of software that flashes subliminal messages at you while you’re working on your computer. This is one of my favorite experiments.

I downloaded the software onto my computer and fired it up to see what happened. It flashed its subliminal messages at me for about 3 weeks when suddenly the message I’d programmed in, manifested in my life.

I’m not going to tell you what the message was until you give the software a try and post a comment here on my blog to let me know how it worked for you. When there’s been a few posts, I’ll tell you what I programmed into my software.
