How To Build Profitable Keyword Lists

Thursday, January 31st, 2008

Keyword PDQ is a helpful piece of software that can locate profitable niches and industries for you by evaluating the supply and demand of each keyword…and it’s FREE!

This little puppy was developed to research profitable keywords. The operative word being profitable. It’s easy to build lists of keywords, but you generally have no idea if they’ll be profitable or not.

That’s where Keyword PDQ comes in handy. You can enter a keyword like “internet marketing” and it spits out a list of 100 keyword phrases that match “internet marketing.” Then it goes one step further.

It also gives you a listing of the supply and demand for each keyword. If you see 1,000,000 websites are providing content about internet marketing, but only 500 people are searching for that keyword, you may want to rethink your strategy.

On the other hand, if you search on a keyword that has 500 websites and 1,000,000 people searching for that term, you’ve just hit the jackpot. Admittedly, this is very difficult to find, but they do exist.

Realistically, if you can find a keyword or keyword phrase that has a 1:1 supply and demand, you’ve found a niche that could potentially offer nice profits. For example, if you search for “widgets” and find 10,000 sites about “widgets” and 10,000 people searching for “widgets” you’ve found a potential gold mine.

Searching for profitable keywords can take a bit of time, but it’s time well spent. Uncovering a niche or industry with a large search volume and a low supply of quality websites, opens profitable opportunities for you.

Camtasia Studio Free - Yes Free Software! No Strings

Sunday, November 25th, 2007

Pick this up while you can. I paid $300 for Camtasia 5 and now they’re giving away Camtasia 3 for free. I don’t know how long this will last, so scoop it up while it’s still available.

At first, I thought this was one of those messages like Microsoft wants to pay you $100 for every email you send, but this one is the real deal.

The campaign TechSmith seems to be running is, you download Camtasia 3 and then they try to upsell you to Camtasia 5, but there’s no other catch.

You won’t have the latest version of Camtasia, but honestly, who cares :) Camtasia 3 works just fine.

Here’s how you get it:

1. Download Camtasia 3 here

2. Enter your name, country and email here and Techsmith will email you the software key to unlock the software

You can thank Jacqui Carrel  for this. She’s the one that tipped me off to it.
