LITTLE BUSINESS BOOK TAKLES THE ECONOMY

Wednesday, December 3rd, 2008

A new book hits the bookshelves this month that claims to take on the ailing economy. Guerrilla Marketing Breakthrough Strategies, by Terry Telford and Jay Conrad Levinson, teaches entrepreneurs how to expand their businesses, despite the current economic conditions. The strategy? Use joint venture partnerships to leverage your business’s assets without increasing expenses.

“Guerrilla Marketing Breakthrough Strategies is like a breath of fresh air in a stale and floundering economic environment,” said Telford. “One of the reasons Jay and I decided to release this book now is, business owners are hurting. Even though the economy is hanging by a thread, entrepreneurs can expand their businesses now as quickly as they could last year or the year before.”

“The key to rapid business expansion is strategic joint ventures,” says Telford. “When business owners work together, it’s a win-win scenario. In Guerrilla Marketing Breakthrough Strategies, I give real life examples of some of my businesses and how I have grown them by using joint venture partnerships.”

Guerrilla Marketing Breakthrough Strategies readers also get a free set of downloadable CDs in MP3 format. The CDs contain a live interview with Telford and Levinson. In the interview, Levinson reveals that one of the most profitable parts of his business is joint ventures.

This book has been compared to a home study course for business expansion. It contains email templates to send to potential joint venture partners, phone scripts to call prospective partners, 54 Guerrilla Marketing joint venture strategies and a fast track system. Everything a business owner needs to start expanding their business using joint venture partnerships is in this little book.

Use Casino Strategies In Your Business To Turn Expenses Into Profit

Wednesday, February 20th, 2008

Think about your business for a moment. You have income and expenses. The game of business dictates the income side of your balance sheet has to be bigger than the expenses. But imagine for a moment if you could turn your expenses into profit centers. Turn your expenses into income!

Of course, not all your expenses can be turned into profit centers. You still have phone, heat and hydro, and things of that nature. But what if you could turn things like marketing into a profit center instead of an expense? You can.

I just read a report from Ben Mack, Paulie Sabol and Jay Conrad Levinson that shared a strategy casinos in Las Vegas use to turn expenses into profit centers. This is fascinating and something you can use in your business to turn your expenses into profit centers.

Here’s an excerpt taken right from the report about what casinos have done to increase their bottom line:

Casino managers in Vegas discovered…

1) Recycling companies pay for and send workers to collect bottles & cans from
casino bars…

2) Pig farms will pay for the discarded food to fatten pigs…

3) Vendors will pay to set-up carts in casino walkways…

4) Fortune 500 companies will pay to sponsor bars, Showrooms, and events…

5) Production companies will pay to put signs on the side of the casino buildings on the strip…

And the list goes on and on with ways to turn expenses into profits…

And that’s just the casino industry. You can do the same for your business.

The Guerrilla Balance Sheet report shows you exactly how to find those expenses in your business and turn them into profit centers.

But I have to warn you. Don’t let the price of the report fool you. It’s a $7 report, but it could easily be sold for $47, $67, $97, or maybe even more. Implementing just one idea from the report can literally make you thousands of dollars at the same time it’s saving you thousands of dollars. Your profit center earning potential is essentially doubled, because you’re making money from areas in your business that previously cost you money.

Oh yeah, one other thing. It’s not a flimsy 5-page report. It’s a full-blown 61-page product.

Pick yours up now and get the brainpower of 3 legendary minds working for you in your business.

7 Step Guerrilla Marketing Plan

Friday, January 18th, 2008

Just in case you haven’t heard of Jay Conrad Levinson,
he’s the guerrilla marketing guy. He’s authored or
co-authored 57 books and is a best selling author. In fact,
guerrilla marketing has sold over 15 million copies.

But Jay’s real claim to fame is his 7-sentence guerrilla
marketing plan. It takes 5 minutes to write and sets your
business up for unlimite’d success.

I don’t want to make this email too long, so I’m going to
give you the first 3 steps, then I’ll tell you where you
can get the rest in a moment. And it won’t cost you a
dime.

Here are the first 3 steps of Jay Conrad Levinson’s
guerrilla marketing plan:

Step 1
The first sentence tells the purpose of your marketing.
What physical act do you want people to take? Do you want
them to click to your website, call an 800 number, look for
your product next time they go to the store? What physical
act you want people to take? That’s pretty easy to say in
one sentence and that’s all you need in that sentence.

Step 2
The second sentence is about your benefits, but it’s only
about one of your benefits. I ask people to create a list of
all the benefits people derive from doing business with
them. But I say your competitor is offering the same
benefits, for the most part. You probably offer some benefit
that is a competitive advantage. These are advantages your
competitors don’t offer. So I say put a circle around your
competitive advantages. That’s what your second sentence
should focus on, your competitive advantage. You may have 5
competitive advantages. Don’t put them all down, because it
complicates things. Write down your main competitive
advantage and that’s how you are going to achieve your
purpose.

Step 3
The third sentence tells who your target audience is. Who
are the people most likely to bu’y what you are selling?
Maybe you have more than one target audience, most companies
do. List your primary and secondary target audience.

Those are the first 3 steps of the guerrilla marketing
plan. Don’t be fooled by its simplicity. Many fortune 500
companies follow this plan and make billions of dollars.
