iClickUniversity.com Releases Report On The Economy

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

iClickUniversity.com Releases Report On The Economy

Trenton, Ontario – June 4, 2009 – Flying in the face of the doom and gloom media, iClickUniversity.com instructors, Terry Telford and Richard Butler released a report with a positive outlook on the global economic crisis. This new look at the economy has taken some people by surprise.

According to Telford, “There’s a lot of opportunity out there right now. Stocks are on sale, houses can be scooped up with ridiculously low mortgage rates and you can buy a vehicle with 0% financing. Now is the time to take advantage of tremendous savings world wide.”

Butler added, “Recessions are nothing new. They’re simply part of the economic cycle. After this recession, we’ll see an upswing in the economy that results in a boom. The boom will hit a peak and then slide down into another recession. We’ve witnessed these cycles since 1797, so it’s really nothing new.”

In their report, the iClickUniversity.com instructors reveal how you can ignore THE economy and focus on YOUR economy. According to these guys, this may be the best economic news you’ll get this year.

You can download a copy of the report from

The Four Keys To Business Success - #2 Focus

Wednesday, April 29th, 2009

Whether you’re starting a new business, or your business has been around for years, getting back to the basics will help you pinpoint areas you have overlooked in the past, and help you build a stronger business for the future.

The four keys to your business success are:

Mindset
Focus
Education
Action

In this series of four articles, we’ll explore each area see how it fits into your business.

Focus
The next battle you’re going to wage is with your mind. You need to stay focused on one task at a time. Pinpoint your focus to stay effective. When you sit at your computer, you are there to get a job done. There are hundreds of distractions online and offline, but you need to focus on the task at hand or your work will never get completed.

We all suffer from information overload. When you are online, it’s easy to start out with great intentions of completing a task like answering email, and 2 hours later find yourself surfing mindlessly. You click on a link in an email that takes you to a website that leads you to another website with intriguing information in a link that… you get the picture. We’ve all been there. So you need to guard your focus and not lose sight of what you’re actually supposed to be doing while you are sitting in front of your computer screen.

To prove this point, look at the results of a recent experiment. Whether you agree or disagree with the methodology, the outcome is fascinating.

An experiment was conducted with a group of mentally challenged people. Each person had the ability to listen to simple instructions and carry out a simple task. None of them could do more than one simple task at a time, but all of them were able to complete menial tasks on a computer.

The top person in the group had been taught how to copy and paste text from a Word document into a simple form on a website. Each day, he would sit down at the computer for 20 minutes, copy and paste exactly as he’d been shown and then turn off the computer. This was his “job” every single day, day-in, day-out.

The text he was copying and pasting from the Word document into the form on the website was a simple article. He was given a new article each morning to copy into an article submission website and then push the send button. That was all he did. That was all he knew how to do. He didn’t suffer from information overload. He simply followed the instructions he had been given.

Each article promoted a website. After 3 weeks of sending out one article a day, the website made its’ first sale, then another and another until the website was making at least one sale a day.

If a mentally challenged person can generate sales from a website, using one simple tactic, so can you. The key to making it happen is focus – your focus.

Narrow your focus and block out all the other noise in your life. Do not hop around, don’t get side tracked, don’t get bogged down with information. Follow the steps in the order they have been presented and you will have a solid business that you are proud of.

How To Profit From Private Label Rights

Tuesday, February 10th, 2009

Hi there my marketing friend

I have a bit of an interesting story for you. I’ve just started using YouTube a bit more and I thought it would be handy to put this tutorial on it. I spent about 12 hours creating the video and then discovered that YouTube only allows 10 minute videos. The original video was 12 minutes. Oops.

So I redid the video and cut out about 3 minutes, but that also cut out a big chunk of content I really wanted to share, so I’ve included my original script here, so you can also benefit from the content you don’t get to see in the YouTube video.

I hope this helps if you’re thinking about using Private Label Rights products.

- - - Original Script Starts Here - - -

Welcome to How to profit with private label rights and a review of Private Label Secrets.

Private Label Rights (PLR) are used by some of the top internet entrepreneurs to quickly create products with very little investment of time or capital. Unfortunately, most internet entrepreneurs who have heard about PLR, make very little money with it. Instead of following a profitable plan, they run around in circles like a dog chasing its tail. Here’s why.

PLR products are completely customizable. Whether it’s an ebook, a piece of software, or a graphics package, you have complete control over the content. It’s the same as if I write an ebook for you and then give it to you and let you put your name on it and take all the credit for the content as if it’s yours. It’s fast, it’s simple and it’s completely legal.

So why doesn’t everyone do it? Because it takes some work, it’s a very minimal amount of work, but it is work. Most people are chasing get rich quick schemes so their impression of a successful PLR business is to buy lots of PLR products, stick them on a website and sell them to other people who do the same.

It doesn’t take very long until the market is saturated with the same PLR products on all the PLR websites. And then the average entrepreneur says, “PLR products don’t work.”

Meanwhile, the entrepreneurs who have actually opened the zip file that the PLR product came in are making money hand over fist, because they took the time to customize the product and introduce it to the market as their own.

Here’s how simple it is:

1. Edit the ebook and add some of your own content. Add your own personal style and charm to the product. Then add your name as the author
2. Personalize the graphics or have a graphic designer do it for you
3. Edit the sales letter and again add your own style and character to it

When you’ve got the product complete, you can

1. Publish your website and send traffic to it. So you sell it as a stand alone product
2. If you embed affiliate links into it, you can give it away as a freebie. When your reader’s click on your affiliate links, you get paid
3. You can use them as a tool for your affiliates and allow them to re-brand the product with their affiliate links to your products
4. You can turn the written ebook into an audio and sell it as an audio ebook which adds value to the package
5. You can strip the book down and turn it into articles
6. You can add a workbook to it and market it as a course

Now just for comparison, let’s look at what it would cost to have your own ebook written.

Costs $200 - $500 for a good 50 page ebook
Graphics for a website including affiliate marketing pieces $150 - $250
Sales letter - $750 - $1,200

In real costs, you’re looking at  $1,100 - $1,950. That’s still good because you save a huge amount of time and all the heavy lifting is done for you. You don’t have to take care of all the intricate details of writing and designing.

And coming from someone who’s been on both sides of the table, I’d much rather pay someone to do the hard work.

Now the flip side of the coin with PLR products is, you’re not the only one with the product. Even though you’ve customized the product and it has your own design and feel, the core of the product is still out there for anyone to duplicate.

So it’s really a judgement call. Is it worth spending a sizeable amount of capital to have a product created specifically for you, or is it better to invest a minimal amount of time and money and use a PLR product.

My vote is the PLR product.

But it goes one step further. There are lots and lots and lots of PLR products on the market, so there’s no shortage of supply. The big difference comes when you start looking at the quality of the products. Suddenly, you have a pretty short list of products that you’d actually want to attach your name to.

My choice for using PLR is to find a service that creates their own in-house products and limits the distribution to a select few in the market. That way, I feel confident knowing I can tweek the product, get it out on the market and have limited risk of it looking like a copy cat product.

I have a couple PLR suppliers that I use regularly and today I’m going to take you behind the scenes into the private member’s area of Private Label Secrets. www.PLRPassport.com

I like this supplier because they have their own professional in-house team that creates two new PLR products every month. They’re high quality products that target very active markets, so the products are extremely easy to sell. The other thing I really like about this supplier is the completeness of the packages. In addition to the core product, you also get all the supplementary elements that go with it, including some marketing material, so it makes your customization of the product very simple. And you’ll see that when we get into the private member’s area.

So let’s start off by taking a look at what you get when you become a member:

Video

And the icing on the cake is the price. The first month you become a member it costs $67, then each additional month that you stay it only costs $47 a month. So you pay a small premium up front to access all the content at once and then you’re only paying $47 a month for 2 fresh new PLR products. So each new product only costs $23.50. And you have the first mover’s advantage because only the members of  Private Label Secrets have access to these products each month.

So bottom line, if you’re looking for a fast, easy, inexpensive way to create high quality products, I recommend a membership to the site. But if you’re not willing to invest a bit of time and effort to customize the products and make them work for you to help build your own brand, market your products, and develop an additional income stream, I’d suggest passing on this opportunity.

So that wraps it up for this review, my name is Terry Telford, from TerryTelford.com and I wish you all the success you deserve.

7 steps to a solid monthly internet income

Wednesday, June 18th, 2008

There are literally thousands of ways to make money online.
One of the most solid business models to ensure a continual
monthly income is a subscription based membership website.

Members pay a monthly fee for access to a private member’s
area where they can access your information. You can provide
a variety of information in as many formats as you choose.
You can offer articles, reports, audios, videos,
teleseminars, downloads, software, almost anything you can
imagine.

Even if you offer a low cost membership, it only takes a
few members to make a comfortable income. A membership
website that charges $9.97 a month, only needs 300 members
to generate $3,000 every month.

And setting up a membership website has become remarkably
simple with advances in software that can be set up in a
couple hours, even by the average non-technical person.

It’s just that simple. In the beginning, it takes some time
and energy to put the whole project together, but then it’s
simply a matter of updating, maintaining and marketing. So
let’s look at the steps to put together a successful
membership website.

Step 1
Choose a market. This is critical. You should look for a
market you’re going to enjoy working in as well as a market
people spend money in. People spend money where they are
passionate. Markets like sports, pets, business, and hobbies
all make hot markets to launch a membership website

Step 2
Test the market. Visit forums and chat rooms and ask people
if they know of any good websites that offer up-to-date
information.

Step 3
Use your research from Step 2 to develop a rough outline of
what your website will offer your members

Step 4
Write a sales letter and have the graphics professionally
designed. If you can’t do this yourself, hire a freelancer
from elance.com or guru.com

Step 5
Set up the membership software to run the site.

Step 6
Populate the site with your content

Step 7
Market your site and let the cash flow begin.

7 simple steps and you’ve got a membership website that
will generate a solid monthly cash flow for you. Each step
takes some effort and energy, but you can have your first
membership website completely set up and running in less
than a month. Then you can repeat the process as many times
as you like to increase your membership portfolio and your
monthly income.

Your first step is a quick video tutorial on setting up and
running a membership website. Get if free from

A Single Idea That Changed The World

Monday, June 2nd, 2008

I’m about to reveal a single idea that changed the world. Well maybe not the whole world, but it changed my world. And I’m willing to bet it will change yours too.

In June 2005, one of my online businesses, The Business Professional, generated $41,439 in sales in 17 days. And I was on vacation. In November 2007, that same business generated $61,763 in sales in 10 days.

And it happened because I used one single idea I found in the most influential business development course I’ve ever taken. The idea was simple. Instead of selling individual memberships to a website, sell them in bulk.

Here’s how it works. Package up memberships in bundles of 500 or 1,000 and sell them as wholesale packages. Allow your new wholesalers to sell memberships to your website and let them keep all the profit.

You make your money on the price of your wholesale packages and the backend sales to all the members. Your wholesalers make their money on the sales of memberships. It’s a win-win scenario.

You also have a constant stream of new members as your wholesalers continually sell new memberships. The goal of The Business Professional was to have 500 wholesalers. Currently there are only 300 and only 10% are active.

Even with only 30 active wholesalers, The Business Professional averages 20-40 new members daily. Just think what your business could do using this business model and more active wholesalers.

And this is only one idea I took from the “You Can Make A Living Online” course. Imagine what you could do if you took 2 ideas from the course :)

Review the course outline and see what you think. If you decide to enrol in the course, it’s fully tax deductible, so you can write it off. It’s as good as getting the course for free.

50% discount coupon for 48 hours

Wednesday, May 14th, 2008

This morning I’m sitting on the edge of my seat. I’m so

excited to give you this.

www.returnontraffic.com/terry.html

It’s a 50% discount on one of the coolest ways to increase
your sales by 25% - 100%. I’ll tell you what it is, how I
got if for you and how it’s actually free.

OK. This brilliant script turns your exit traffic into
cash. When someone is about to leave your website without
buying your product, it pops up a message with a special
offer for people. That’s not revolutionary, but the psycho
timer is :)

The message that pops up has a timer that gives your
prospects a limited time to take advantage of your offer or
the window disappears. The urgency with a timer is
brilliant. It triggers people’s fear of loss and they click
on your second offer.

Your second offer can be another product, a sign up page,
or anything you like.

OK that’s what this cool thing is. Now I’ll tell you how I
got it for you.

I have a very good friend in The Netherlands named Pieter.
We’ve been friends for about 2 years and compare notes with
each other on business ideas and projects we’re working on.
So a few weeks ago, he showed me his newest project, Return
On Traffic.

I really liked the idea and I thought you would too, so I
asked him if we could work out an arrangement to allow you
to have it virtually free. Of course he said, “No” So I
played around with some variations until he said, “Yes”

Here’s how you get it free.

If you went to Pieter’s website right now, you can get this
software for $97 plus $19.95 a month. But he allowed me to
give you a 50% discount on the regular price and knock off
the monthly fee, so you make one small payment now and never
again. Essentially, I got it for you free :) But only
for 48 hours.

Convert 63% More Browsers Into Buyers

Wednesday, April 30th, 2008

I want to share a neat statistic with you today. In the
past week, I was able to increase the sales on one of my
websites by 63%. All I did was change 2 sentences. You know
what they were?

The headline.

Your headline is the single most important piece of text on
your entire website. From the statistics I’ve read, you have
less than 2 seconds to grab your prospect’s attention and
pull them into your website.

If your headline draws them in, then your sub-headline
needs to pull them into your first paragraph and your first
paragraph needs to pull them into your second paragraph, all
the way through your sales letter to the order button.

But they will never get to your order button if you don’t
grab them with your headline. And that’s where a bit of a
dilemma occurs. How do you write an award-winning headline
that magnetically draws people into your sales letter?

You have 3 choices:

1.
You can take a copywriting course and learn how to write
copy like the pros

2.
You can clone other headlines

3.
You can use software to write your headlines for you

The first 2 choices take time, effort and brain power. The
third choice takes about 90 seconds and you’ve got dozens of
kick-butt headlines for anything you want to sell. I create
most of my headlines using software, because it’s fast, easy
and effective.

That’s how I turned 63% of my browsers into buyers. I used
my powerful headline software to write an award-winning
headline for me. And you can do the exact same thing with
your headlines. You’ll find the software I use at

www.TerryTelford.com/hcp

Use it today – prosper today.

Publish A Newsletter Without Writing A Word

Monday, April 28th, 2008

I hope you’re having a fantastic day!

I’m about to share a concept with you that can pour money
into your ClickBank account every single month. It’s
publishing without typing.

www.QuantumLeapNews.com

Publishing a newsletter is a very profitable way to make a
living online. Every time you send a newsletter to your
subscribers, the virtual cash register starts ringing in
sales. That’s the upside.

The downside is, writing a newsletter takes time,
commitment and skill if you want it to make you any money.
If you’re like the average person, you don’t have a lot of
time to spare in your already hectic day. You probably don’t
want to be strapped to a publishing schedule that means
you’ll have to miss your favorite game. And you may have to
learn some basic copywriting skills to turn your newsletter
into a profit genereator.

So even the publishers that do start out with great
intentions of writing a newsletter on a regular basis, often
fall into the trap of putting it off, only writing a
newsletter now and then and eventually losing interest.

The solution is simple.

I’ll write your newsletter for you and we split the sales
50/50. Sound fair?

Here’s how it works.

I publish a newsletter called Quantum Leap News. Free
newsletter subscribers receive a newsletter every other day.
The newsletter shares valuable information with the
subscriber and then offers additional resources. The
additional resources are paid products and services.

When one of your referred subscribers makes a purchase, you
get a commission paid directly to your ClickBank account.
And it happens over and over and over. Every time your
referred subscriber makes a purchase, you get a payment
deposited into your ClickBank account.

But it gets even better

You also get a commission if your referred subscriber
upgrades to a Gold Membership. A Gold Membership will net
you $4.11 a month. That isn’t going to make you rich, but
it means an extra $49 a year. Refer 100 new subscribers who
upgrade to Gold and you land yourself an extra $4900 a year.

Plus, when new subscribers sign up for the newsletter, they
are presented with 2 special offers. You also make a 50%
commission on each of the 2 offers.

So you generate an income in three separate ways. And all
you do is refer people to the FRE’E newsletter. You get all
the benefits of publishing your own newsletter without the
hassle of writing or spending time worrying about what to
send to your subscribers.

www.QuantumLeapNews.com

I look forward to welcoming you as a subscriber and a
partner.

I made $100 with Google AdSense

Friday, April 18th, 2008

I’ve got an interesting little story for you this morning.

When I first started using Google AdSense, I was like most
other webmasters. I thought it was going to be the Golden
Goose that laid the golden egg. But Google ended up goosing
me. LOL.

My first attempt at Google AdSense made me a whopping $100
in 6 months. Not exactly the windfall I had expected. Then I
heard about a guy making almost $20,000 a month with AdSense
and he was willing to teach people what he was doing.

www.TerryTelford.com/My-Buddy-Joel.html

His name is Joel Comm. I bought his book, read it and
implemented his strategies. And you know what? I started
making $100 a month. I know that’s nothing to write home
about, but now instead of making $200 a year with AdSense, I
was making $1,200. That’s a pretty nice pay raise.

And the really exciting thing is, I didn’t have to do much
to increase my Google paycheck. I changed the positioning of
my AdSense ads so they integrated more seamlessly into my
pages. I changed the size of my ads, so they attracted more
attention, and I changed the colour of the text so it
reflected the design of my pages. Those 3 simple changes
gave me a $1,000 a year raise.

So think of what you can do with Joel’s knowledge.

OK now stop thinking and go get it :)

How To Re-purpose Your Work For Increased Profits

Saturday, April 5th, 2008

I hope your day is going fantastic. Mine is now. I just
reformatted my hard drive after installing an update for my
computer that crashed my system. Oops!

While my computer was reformatting, I couldn’t work on it,
so I decided to read. I’m reading a book by Jay Conrad
Levinson called Guerrilla Marketing For Writers. In the
book, Jay talks about the many formats that AOL Time Warner
uses to monetize a single idea.

You can use the same formula to re-purpose your products
too. First, I’ll give you the AOL Time Warner formula that
Jay mentions in his book and then I’ll show you how to apply
it to your work and increase your own profits.

Here’s what AOL Time Warner can do with an idea:

1.
Publish it in hardcover with Little Brown

2.
Feature it in the Book Of The Month Club

3.
Produce the movie and have it distributed by Warner
Bros.

4.
The soundtrack can be released by Warner Music

5.
A mass market edition published by Warner Books

6.
The movie shown on HBO

7.
The book reviewed and promoted in Time magazine and on
AOL

That’s a lot of re-purposing for one idea and a lot of
fantastic exposure. Now here’s how you can do it on a
smaller scale with your own work:

1.
Write an article

2.
Record the article as an MP3

3.
Turn the article into a Power Point presentation and
record it as a video

4.
Submit the article to article directories

5.
Submit the MP3 to podcast directories

6.
Submit the video to video directories

7.
Combine the article with a few more articles, add in a
couple advertisements and turn it into a PDF

8.
Post the PDF on free ebook directories

9.
Post the article on your blog

10.
Post the article as a resource on your website

11.
Send the article to your subscribers

Re-purposing your article into a multi-marketing tool saves
you heaps of time and gains you a lot of exposure for very
little effort.

If you’re short of ideas for articles, you can start by
using PLR material and reworking it into an article you can
call your own.

If you need some quality PLR material including audio, you
can grab a handful at
