Know Your Rights PLR, MRR, RR

Thursday, May 29th, 2008

I’d like to clarify something for you today. I was talking
to a friend of mine yesterday and she asked me what the
difference was between all the different “Rights” products
we all see on the market.

The main “Rights” you’ll find are Private Label Rights
(PLR), Master Resale Rights (MRR), and Resale Rights (RR).
I’ll give you the basic meaning of each of the rights, but
read any license agreements  that come with the products you
order, because some authors may include different
guidelines.

www.terrytelford.com/PLRspecial.html

Private Label Rights give you the most flexibility with a
product. You’re allowed to edit and manipulate the
information as much as you like and put your own name on the
product. This is one of the fastest ways to create a
product.

If it’s a written product, you’ll generally get the Word
.doc file, which allows you to easily edit and improve the
content. If it’s an audio product, you’ll generally get the
MP3 or WAV file and can add your own introduction and
conclusion to promote yourself and your products.

Master Resale Rights allow you to resell the product and
keep all the profit. These rights often allow you to offer
the Master Resale Rights and Resale Rights to your
customers. That allows your customers to follow in your
footsteps and resell the product as well.

Resale Rights are the least flexible. If you own the Resale
Rights to a product, you have the right to sell the product
and keep the profit, but you can’t offer your customers the
same rights. You have the rights to sell the product, that’s
it.

Owning rights to a product can be very profitable. If you
have a choice, Private Label Rights are the best rights to
buy. Owning the PLR for a product allows you to resell the
product as is, create a new product almost instantly and
then offer your customers any of the rights you choose.

My most successful PLR project, so far, grossed almost
$4,000 in 3 weeks and it continues to sell. You may do
better.

Start off with an inexpensive PLR product package, fine
tune a product or two and put it out to market. The results
can be very rewarding. Get a comprehensive PLR package from

Master Resale Rights Strategies

Thursday, May 22nd, 2008

I thought you’d find this interesting. I just had a
conversation with Sam on Skype. He was positive he could not
make any money with Master Resale Rights. So I did my best
to show him how he could. You be the judge.

Sam: I’ve been watching you

Terry: Ah ok. Do I know you?

Sam: Don’t worry I’m not stalking you, I’ve been watching
you progress over the years

Terry: Ah thank you, you had me worried for a moment. LOL

Sam: I have a question for you, if you have the time

Terry: Sure thing

Sam: It’s about the master resale rights you’re selling on
the warrior forum how’s that going?

Terry: Quite well, thanks for asking

Sam: Has anyone made money from them

Terry: They just went on sale on Saturday, but if someone
has sent out an offer to their list, they’ve probably made
money from them. I really have no way of knowing unless they
send me feedback.

Sam: But in general, does anyone make money with those
things

Terry: Yup, they sure do

Sam: I’ve bought tons of them and haven’t made a cent

Terry: What have you done to sell them?

Sam: I put them on my website

Terry: What’s the topic of the website

Sam: Like yours IM stuff

Terry: Are the products new or old?

Sam: Pretty new

Terry: what’s your website, I’ll take a look

Sam: www.(website blanked out for privacy)

Terry: Ok, I have a couple suggestions. You have master
resale rights for all this stuff?

Sam: yes

Terry: why should I buy it from your site instead of for $1
from ebay

Sam: what do you mean

Terry: I just took a look at your site and googled 3 of the
products you’re offering and I can buy them on ebay for $1

Sam: see that’s what I mean

Terry: so why are you selling them for $47

Sam: I can’t sell them for $1, then I don’t make any money

Terry: but you’re already not making any money, so why not
list them on ebay for $1

Sam: Is that what you suggest

Terry: nope, I’m playing devil’s advocate

Sam: so I should sell them on ebay for $1

Terry: I wouldn’t

Sam: so what should I do

Terry: You have the master resale rights to the products,
which is powerful. In the IM world it’s fairly standard so
when you say master resale rights no one blinks an eyelash,
but think about what you have

Sam: what do you mean

Terry: You have the right to distribute those products any
way you like, some people will give them away, others will
sell them as is. You have to be different. I know it’s
cliché but think outside the box.

Sam: just tell me what to do

Terry: I have an idea for you that I do and it works really
well. The resale rights products you have with ebooks or
reports, record them as audios and offer the audio as a
bonus or an upsell or even as part of your product. That way
it sets your products apart from the others that are exactly
the same. Suddenly your selling a product with a greater
value because it has an audio that goes with it. Or add a
video to it. Show how the principles in the book work in
real life.

Sam: ok but

Terry: Hang on a sec you can also turn them into tangible
products by printing them and having them bound or burning
them onto a CD. That also increases the perceived value. So
now you have a full range of products that you’ve added
value to and no one else has.

Sam: I don’t know how to do audio or video

Terry: you can either learn or outsource it. Audio is
simple. If you visit my site www.TerryTelford.com/webaudio I
show you how to set things up with one piece of software.
It’s as easy as pie :) Video is about as simple if you use
camtasia. It’s a bit more expensive, I think it’s around
$400 at www.techsmith.com

Sam: ok

Terry: one more thing that’s even simpler is timing. If
you’re one of the first people to start marketing a resale
rights product, you have a good chance of making some good
money for about 2-3 weeks after the product is launched
before everyone is marketing it. That’s why I start my
products in the warrior forum. Did you see my special offer
at www.TheBusinessProfessional.com/wso.html

Sam: yes that’s why I wanted to ask you about these things

Terry: Excellent. I’m glad you did. Anything else I can
help you with?

Sam: probably lol but I’ve taken enough of your time now

Terry: I’m always happy to help Sam just ping me again if
there’s anything else I can help with

Sam: thanks terry

Terry: my pleasure Sam

I hope the advice I gave Sam helps you with your Master
Resale Rights products too. And I wish you the best of
success.

4 Ways To Turn PLR Into Cash

Thursday, March 27th, 2008

Today, I’m going to let you in on a formula I use to turn
PLR products into a cash flow. But first, I’ll tell you what
most people do and why it doesn’t work.

The average person buys a package of Private Label Rights
products and turns around and tries to sell the package “as
is.” They quickly find that everyone else is selling the
same package and it becomes a price war. The person selling
the PLR package at the lowest price gets the orders. There’s
very little money in that game.

Here’s how you can buy the same PLR package as everyone
else is buying and turn it into your own personal gold
mine.

1.
Edit it.
This one should be the obvious choice, but very
few people do this. PLR stands for Private Label Rights.
That means you can edit the product, put your name on it and
voila, you’ve got your very own product to sell with none of
the hassle of writing it. You can pump out a product a day
using this system.

2.
Package it.
Use it as a bonus for a product you’re
already selling. Statistics prove that adding bonuses to
sales pages increases your sales. People love free stuff, so
add a PLR product as a bonus and increase your sales.

3.
Use it as content.
Some webmasters pull the PLR product
apart and use it as content for a website. That’s a great
idea, but add a twist and you’ll monetize it too.

Put each page of the book on a webpage. At the bottom of
each webpage place a link to the next page of the book and a
link for people to buy the whole book as a download. This
works wonderfully.

After about 10 pages of reading online, people get tired of
reading web pages and want the book so they can download it
and print it. It’s a lot easier reading a book in paper
format than online. So people read a few pages online,
decide they like the book and click on your order link.

4.
Break it down into articles.
Another easy way to sellyour PLR ebook is breaking it down
into a series of articles. Post the articles in article
directories with a link in the resource box for people to
buy the book and sales will roll in on autopilot.

And here’s the big secret. buy PLR products that are sold
in a limited quantity. You’ll have a head start on the
market and have the advantage of making the most money right
out of the gate. And right now you’ve got that chance.

I’ve just released PLR rights for 5 of my hot selling
products and you’re one of the few people who get the chance
to get them right now. I’m only releasing 20 PLR rights, so
it gives you a first mover advantage to rake in the most
profit. It also cuts your competition way down, again
putting more cash in your pocket. But I will warn you, these
are not $7 rights. These are very valuable and priced
accordingly. If you follow the 4 steps listed above, you’ll
make your investment back in a matter of days, sometimes
hours.

One other thing. These PLR products are not simply ebooks,
they also include audio MP3s, which opens up a whole new
market for you.

You can pick up your PLR package at

I’ll keep the web page updated so you know how many
packages are left. If you hesitate, you will lose out.

Tomorrow I’m going to show you exactly how I took a single
PLR product that cost me $197 and turned it into an instant
$3,824 profit.

Pick up your PLR package today and tomorrow you’ll see
exactly what to do with it to turn it into a profit-pulling
powerhouse.
